A note from Kate
Hi Everyone,
Well, we popped our cherry with Adelaide on the weekend....OMG soooooo much fun.
So Nostalgic and so powerful to be playing all these wonderful songs and revisiting those amazing times.
Also, to be showing some unreleased footage of events and music videos that document what life was like in the 80's and of course comparing that with life today as mother, wife and adult....( Yeah, maybe not so mature adult, but adult all the same). It's more like home movies with Kate.
Performing with my brother is always a priviledge and a treat. He is so different from me and the balance of the yin and yang of us always present but never more comfortable than on this tour.
On stage I have the chance to thank him for his committment and contribution toward making it this far ....25yrs! Wow!
Without him I may not have lasted the distance.
Same goes for my Mum, Ben (the buggared boss...her husband and my tour
manager) all the girls at RCM who work tirelessly for the great Ralph Carr whom I love and adore. Ruthie and all the rest of the gals that have been working with me over the year.
My band this year, is Phil Ceberano on guitar, Mark Gray on bass, Thom Mann on drums, Paul Cecchinelli on keys and guitar and Nigel on synth and violin. LOVE THIS BAND!!!!!!
