Your chance to meet Kate Ceberano
In celebration of her new seasonal album ‘Merry Christmas’, the irrepressible Kate Ceberano will be making a series of performances and/or album signing sessions around Melbourne in the coming weeks.
Saturday 21st Nov, 12pm – 2pm

Kate will be signing albums (Matt Moran will also be signing copies of his new book. Other activities include a fashion parade, DJ and kids activities)

Kate will be signing albums (George Calombaris will also be in store signing copies of his new book)

Kate will be performing songs from ‘Merry Christmas’ and signing albums
‘Merry Christmas’ is a collection of Kate’s favourite Christmas songs, and a project that’s close to her heart.
“I wanted to make an album my family – especially my daughter, Gypsy – could enjoy,” Kate explains. “I didn’t want it be all this heavy, serious stuff. I hear Gypsy singing along to ‘I saw Mummy Kissing Santa Claus’, so I wanted it to be fun like that.”
Kate also collaborated with Irish singer Ronan Keating for the track, ‘It’s Only Christmas’. “I adore Ronan’s voice,” she says. “We got along famously and more importantly, we sound sweet together.”
As Kate readies herself for the holidays, her fans can get into the festive mood by listening to her versions of Christmas classics like ‘White Christmas’, ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ and her own favourite seasonal song, ‘Santa Baby’.
”I’ve always loved Christmas. My family get together; we eat great food, share gifts and great stories, and sing and laugh together. This collection of songs represents what Christmas means to me: the fun, the nostalgia, and the message of peace and goodwill.”
